Description

Περιγραφή: Αποτελεί φυσική ανάμιξη θυμαρίσιου μελιού με πευκόμελο. Παράγεται στη Κρήτη και προκύπτει από την ιδιαίτερη διαχείριση των μελισσιών και τη συνύπαρξη όψιμων ανθισμένων θυμαριών με τις μελιτοεκκρίσεις που προέρχονται από το έντομο Marchalina hellenica L το οποίο παρασιτεί κυρίως στην τραχεία (Pinus brutia Ten) και χαλέπιο πεύκη (Pinus halepensis Mill).

Description: It is a natural mixture of thyme honey with pine honey. It is produced in Crete and results from the special management of bees and the coexistence of late flowering thyme with honey secretions from the insect Marchalina hellenica L which infects mainly trachea (Pinus brutia Ten) and Aleppo pine (Pinus halepensis Mill).
